The Millennium Square is located in Mar Del Plata in Argentina. The square is located on the site of the former quarter 115, which had to be demolished to build the square.
The Millennium Square is located close to Colon Square to highlight the views of the Central Casino and the Provincial Hotel. The attraction of the square is the famous fountain of dancing water.
In addition to the fountain, you can see 15 historical palm trees donated by the residents of the city, the oldest of which dates back to 1895. This palm tree was donated by the Rodrigo family.
Also of interest is the monument to Astor Piazzola, installed on the square as a tribute to the Argentine musician and composer of the second half of the XX century.
