Plaza de Chile
Description:
Paying tribute to Chileans for helping to rebuild Argentine cities after the 1861 earthquake, Plaza decorated Mendoza with its amazing sculptures and greenery.
The center of the square is dedicated to the eternal friendship of Argentina and Chile. On it stands the pedestal of the Chilean revolutionary Bernardo O'Higgins and the fighter for the independence of Argentina from the Spanish patronage of Jose de San Martin. As a sign of endless friendship, they crossed their arms on one sword.
The main feature of this area is that it is completely green. The oldest aguaraiba in the city is another reason to visit this square.
In the same piggy bank of occasions, you can add a fountain in the center of the square, in the painting of which Chilean motifs are guessed.
Beautiful sculptures, soothing greenery, the spirit of peace and harmony in the air. What else do you need to spend your vacation in a peaceful and cultural way?
