Mendoza

Emillo Sivit Avenue

West of Independence Square

Description:

The street, which is one of the most favorite places for tourists to walk. Graceful architectural structures attract a lot of curious travelers to the avenue named after one of the governors of Mendoza Emilio Sivita.

The magnificent wrought-iron gate that opened its doors at the entrance to this avenue portends an interesting historical walk.

This area is famous for its luxurious buildings, which, unfortunately, have recently fallen into decline, since their former owners are no longer able to maintain huge mansions in good condition. The owners preferred to move to cheaper areas, and no one is in a hurry to buy such luxury from them. That is why the street has acquired the appearance of a dead avenue with a dry lawn and cramped facades of buildings.

But Sivita Avenue has not lost its grandeur, cafes, restaurants and hotels are multiplying here to shelter all visitors to one of the most beautiful streets of the city.
