The museum is a small, well-preserved peasant farm in the 19th century, when the state’s economy relied almost entirely on the production of mate tea. The main exposition is located in a one-storey house near a beautiful lake. It gives an idea of the life and life of peasants, about the traditional process of tea production, the technologies used, and, of course, about the place occupied by the ancient culture of tea drinking mate in the life of local Indians. The guide will tell you how to drink this drink of the gods - "green gold" - so it was called gaucho or local cowboys.
