The Presidio Museum is one of the attractions of the city of Ushuaia. Before 1947, it was an old prison that held prisoners from all over Argentina.
The main attraction of the museum is the exposition dedicated to various prisons of the world.
Tourists can also walk through the corridors of the old prison, look into the cells and interrogation rooms, which contain mannequins depicting famous prisoners who once stayed inside the prison walls.
The rooms and chambers were recreated according to the time.
