Day of Bank Worker of Armenia

Description:

Banknote of 1000 drams, 2003, Armenia
In 2003, the Armenian government declared November 22 as Bank Worker’s Day. From that moment on this day, bank employees celebrate their professional holiday.

The date for the holiday was not chosen by chance – on November 22, 1993, Dram banknotes were introduced in the territory of Armenia instead of rubles of the State Bank of the USSR.

However, the dramatic strengthening of the drama occurred in the summer of 2003. At the same time, the drama continues to increase its quotation today, but at a slower pace.

With this holiday, the state emphasizes the important role of the banking system and the significant contribution of bank workers to the development of the Armenian economy and ensuring its financial stability.
