Where to watch a capybara in the wild for free and without registration?

Despite the fact that the Internet infected mainly Japanese capybaras, the homeland of these animals is South America. This is where their native environment is. How they got to Japan is a different story. I could not find anything on the Internet, if you know, please share in the comments, very interesting.

Where to see a capybar near Buenos Aires? We recently visited the closed village of Nordelta, where capybaras live next to people, and they are completely wild. In the village everything is done in such a way as to allow capybaras to feel in their native environment. Most animals are not fed or touched. They exist on their own and do not let people close to them.

Sometimes crazy tourists like us come, but most of the time, animals are not paid much attention. You can get to the village only by internal document of Argentina (citizens of Argentina) DNI, so the place is mostly deserted, and the locals are used to capybaras.

We were pleasantly shocked that essentially wild animals can live like this with humans in a kind of alliance and arrangement. We were told that the capybara can easily be seen in someone’s pool or on the lawn of someone’s house. Animals are allowed to walk wherever they like.

How do you get to Nordelta? Nordelta is a village that is about an hour by car from Buenos Aires. It can also be easily reached by public transport or taxi. If there are no questions with the taxi, you can download Uber and simply enter the location. A taxi driver will easily enter the village just by saying he is a taxi. Public transportation is a bit more complicated.

If you are already in Buenos Aires, the easiest way is to take a commuter train to the nearby village of Tigre from Retiro Station. The ticket costs, like all suburban trains, about 250 pesos, which is about 20 rubles at the current rate.

Next in Tigris you need to find a bus stop 430. The route is on Google Maps. The trip costs about 500 pesos or about 40 rubles.

If you’re getting there on your own and you don’t have a DNI, just say you’re going to a restaurant in the village and you should be allowed in. And voila, you're in the Nordelta.

Be sure to save yourself the locations where capybaras exactly live. We saw them here and other tourists who traveled.
