Which citizenship is the easiest to obtain?

For example, the Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis has developed a special program, thanks to which absolutely anyone can become a resident if a certain amount is paid. You may not have heard of this piece of light mentioned above. St. Christopher and Nevis is located in the Atlantic Ocean, in the eastern part of the Caribbean Sea. A truly heavenly place, by the way, ruled by the Queen of Great Britain. If you are going to move alone, you will need $250,000. The more family members join you, the more you will have to pay.

 

 

 

 

Much closer and “native” for the Russians will be Cyprus. Here, to obtain citizenship, you need to pay from 3 to 5 million euros. Did you know that the city of Limassol (the largest resort in Cyprus, the main seaport) is home to 20,000 Russians? It is called the city of Russian Cypriots.

 

 

“Chicken is not a bird, Bulgaria is not abroad” is an ironic expression. But actually living in this country has many advantages. For example, Bulgaria has the lowest income taxes in Europe (10%), which is lower than in Russia. Bulgaria is very well located, close to many European countries. And the mentality, of course, will be clear to the Russian people. Bulgarians are tolerant and friendly to foreigners. Obtaining citizenship here will take place in two stages: first you need to invest in government securities a little more than 500 thousand euros to obtain a residence permit. Then you need to invest the same amount and in a year you will receive citizenship.

 

 

 

Canada. With large investments, you can buy permanent residence here for 240,000 Canadian dollars. If you live in Canada for three years as a permanent resident, then you will receive a Canadian passport. This is not the end of your financial investment.

 

 

In short, not everyone can afford such “pleasure”. However, there are other options for obtaining citizenship, for example, in Canada. If you have a creative profession and can prove that you have significant achievements, then you also have a chance to get permanent residence. You can get a work visa provided you have a good higher education. Just do not forget about the mandatory point: you need to know English perfectly. This will have to be confirmed by a special document, having passed the IELTS exam.

 

In addition to investments, there is an option to obtain citizenship through the purchase of real estate. For example, in Portugal. You need to spend 500,000 euros to buy real estate. You can get permanent residence or citizenship in 5 years.

 

 

 

Latvia is closer to us. To obtain a residence permit here, it is necessary to invest 143,000 euros in real estate in the capital and approximately 71,500 euros in housing outside Riga.

 

 

 

An interesting option is to obtain citizenship through employment. Australia could be a good place to move. There are certain specific requirements here, but ultimately you will actually be able to get citizenship once you start working there.
