Where to go in February
On snowy and dark February weekdays, you sometimes want to escape to a place where it is warmer, where shoes do not gain snow when walking. So, where to go in February?
Egypt is always open to tourists. Southeast Asia is also an affordable and suitable option.
Let’s talk to avid tourists, Elena is a lawyer, a yoga coach.
How often do you travel abroad?
- On average 3-4 times a year. Now, due to the workload, I will go for the first time this year only in September.
Where have you been during your travels?
- I've been a lot. It’s the United States, Europe – France, Great Britain, Spain, Greece... I don’t really like Turkey, but I love Cyprus. It's in September, and we're out with our daughter.
If you traveled in February, which countries did you visit?
I really liked Hawaii, I was in California, London, Paris. In London and Paris, I travelled without booking a tour. I just stayed in some cheap hotel, where I walked everywhere. Or rent a car and drive around, using the map completely calm. From such accessible areas in Paris, for example, I recommend living in the area of the Opera (Arrondissement de l’Opera). From there it is very easy to reach the wax museum of Greven, the church of Notre Dame de Loret, for example. I really enjoyed February in Hawaii!

For walks in London, it is best to settle in the Westminster area. This historic centre is located on the left side of the Thames, west of the City of London, the geographical and administrative centre of the capital. Westminster was founded in the VII century around the monastery that existed on this site, as a result of which it received its name, literally translated as “the western church of the monastery”. Initially, the area was located only on the territory of the abbey. This abbey is the traditional place of coronation of the monarchs of Great Britain. Since 1965, he was joined by the suburbs of St. Marylebon and Paddington. Westminster is considered the political center of the UK because of the Parliament in this area.
The most famous British attractions are found in this area: the famous Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace - the active residence of the Queen of England - the symbol of London's Big Ben clock on the Tower of Parliament, the actual Westminster Abbey, the Tate Gallery.
Opposite the Parliament building, we will see the so-called “London Eye” – the Ferris wheel, which is very popular both for guests and residents of London.
If you are in England, you will have to dress warmer. The temperature in February does not exceed 10 degrees Celsius, at night about 0 ° C. But climate change is harder to adapt to, and if we only have a week to rest, how do we get there? February is already a short month. The same applies to Paris, there during the day about 5 ° C, at night it drops to 2 ° C.
A trip to London in February will cost at least $2,000, excluding a visa.

If you still want a sharper climatic contrast in a trip, bask in the sun and swim in the sea, it is better to choose Asian countries - Thailand, India or rest on the island of Bali.
Thailand, famous for its exotic massage, a zoo where you can safely pet a live lion, and just a pleasant climate, will cost an average of 30-35 thousand rubles. India is slightly cheaper – 25 000 rubles, excluding visas.
Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and China will greet you with a somewhat cool sea, the average temperature is 22-25 in the afternoon, at night 14-16 degrees Celsius, you should be ready for this on a trip. However, a tour to the Emirates, for example, is relatively cheap - 25 thousand rubles.
Burning tours at this time almost does not happen, so such a trip - from February snows to June sand - it is better to book in advance. All calculations are given for tours for the week.
They fly to Hawaii through Moscow, so not every agency had to organize such tours, but they will do it!
