From spending to earnings – holiday in Bulgaria

Bulgaria today is a country that invests a lot in the development of the tourism sector. And those who have traveled here in recent years say that the investment was successful: on the Black Sea coast it is difficult to find a place where you can relax better and cheaper. But attracts to Bulgarian resorts not only comfort, but also cheapness of life, especially please the prices for food in shops, cafes, restaurants.

Hotel, aparthotel, apartment, house? Holidaymakers prefer to rent for a while rest and property. Hotels are more expensive, three stars do not always correspond to three, and not everyone likes to eat in a restaurant from morning to evening, children are capricious with food. A little about prices: renting a non-elite apartment 600-1000 meters from the sea will cost you about 15-20 euros per day; 300-600 meters - 17-30 euros; and apartments in a higher class, on the first coastal line with sea views - 50-70 euros.

Dinner with three changes of dishes and alcoholic beverages for four people in a nice restaurant for 35-40 euros? Yeah, that's true. For those who are in Bulgaria for the first time, the prices are certainly surprising. On the resort coast, prices are democratic, but in the "golden" August - the peak of the tourist season, the price rises, however, not exceeding 10%. The basis of Bulgarian cuisine is cheese, vegetables, greens. Traditional meat dishes (not fish) are quite fatty, but extremely tasty and hearty, soups are very popular. You can talk about drinks for hours: the national hit is rakia made of fruit, which is sometimes called an analogue of brandy; a larger number of lighter grape, plum wines. Fresh fruits are extremely inexpensive, even as a Soviet republic, this small country managed to supply the whole USSR with canned plants.

From guest to master

I want to return to Bulgaria again and again, in which the cordiality of the local population in relation to Russians and the almost complete absence of a language barrier plays an important role. And the tourist begins to think: “and not to buy property in Bulgaria by sea, because next year I will go again.”

“Dacha” in Bulgaria, if you calculate the costs, is not more expensive than at home, and there is an interesting offer for any wallet. The soft visa regime and the prospect of its complete abolition, the existing concessions to foreigners for homeowners contribute to the decision-making process. It is impossible not to mention the possibility of acquiring Bulgarian real estate in installments: there are payment options without interest, fixed rates without rising in price. The past crisis gave the most favorable conditions to buyers due to increased competition in the market of primary and secondary housing.

The cost of apartments on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, if you compare it with Russian prices, is ridiculous:
Apartments more than 1 km away from the coast are estimated at 15,000-18000 euros (350-400 euros per 1 mI).
- Housing located at a distance of 600-1000 m from the sea - within 500-600 euros per 1 mI.
- An apartment in a house 200-600 m away from the sea costs 25000-30000 euros (600-700 mI).
The most expensive meters are on the first coastline (200 m from the sea): from 700 euros in budget houses to 1500 in luxury complexes.

Of course, the price of any apartment depends not only on the location of the house, but also on its area, layout, level of the residential complex. A typical building, a house with a protected area and a swimming pool, a serviced apart-hotel - the classes of residential buildings are diverse.

Your property in a popular resort is good and the fact that you can earn by renting it out, if you do not rest yourself, than the cost of housing is reduced to zero. You can rent both through agencies, which guarantees the safety of the apartment, and your friends in Russia. Buying apartments in Bulgaria is very popular among Russians: cheap life, magnificent nature, mild climate, similar languages, common faith - there are many reasons for choosing Bulgaria as a permanent place for family holidays or even life.
