Tourist opportunities for Ukrainians without visas
Ukraine is a country with a huge tourist potential, excellent conditions for excursion and now popular ecotourism. However, Ukrainians are among the most frequent visitors to other countries.
With the adoption of new legislation on visa-free opportunities in the European Union, residents of Ukraine can visit about 40 countries of the world, 26 countries of the Schengen Union and some EU countries.
Of the restrictions: the visa-free regime is valid only for a period limited to 90 days in the country, and, of course, a biometric passport is a prerequisite for travel.
The electronic chip of the passport contains information about the citizen, a digital photo of the face, the signature of the carrier, fingerprint data. In Ukraine, such passports are issued for the fourth year.
It should be noted that the visa-free regime does not give a 100% guarantee of entry into the EU. The decision on the admission of a citizen is taken by the border guard.

What the border guard requires:
1. Passport (current passport, which is valid for another 3 months before the planned return).
2. The reason or purpose of the visit and location in the country of rest.
3. Availability of a material guarantee in the form of a certain amount of money for staying in the EU countries and going home (at least 45 euros per person per day).
4. In addition, it is recommended to have a pre-prepared tourist medical checkout, a green card (for travel by car), an invitation letter, or a tourist’s ticket.
5. The absence of tourist data in the list of persons prohibited from entering the EU countries.
6. And of course, a traveling citizen should not be threatened by his presence in a particular country.
So, according to the internal identity document, residents of Ukraine can visit both Belarus and Russia.
In the cities of Belarus, travelers can stay up to three months from the moment of arrival. In Russia, Ukrainians can stay 90 days within 6 months from the time of entry into the country.
