Iguazu Falls (Argentina) for 3 days - how much it costs and what to see with a child
We decided to go to the falls ourselves, without any tour, which may have been a mistake. I'll tell you why.
Flight
Flying by plane local low-cost airline JetSmart. Departed on Thursday at 18:00 from Buenos Aires, flew to Puerto Iguaza at 20:00.
Back we came across not very convenient flight with departure at 00:00 (already turns out on Monday, February 2), arrived at 02:00 the night of the same day in Buenos Aires. Saved 3000 rubles, it is called.

The hotel was chosen right in the jungleOn the outskirts of the city - the one closest to the waterfalls. Very picturesque place. This is 3 stars with breakfast, cost us 236,000 pesos, that is, about 13,000 rubles for 3 nights.

All rooms are separate houses with equipped walkways, a good large outdoor pool. In general, the hotel is not bad, although by Russian standards it does not even pull one star (old equipment, ants and insects in the room, poor lighting, red walls).
Tip: Carry a local card with cash or cash with stock
Transfer and entrance to the park
On Friday morning, they took a transfer to the waterfalls (destination - catratas).
The transfer cost 50,000 pesos per car (we went with a stroller) – it’s about 35 dollars or 3000 rubles back and forth.
Entrance to the park for foreigners without a DNI is 45,000 pesos per person ($32, 2,500 rubles).
If there are documents (residence permit or permanent residence) - 15,000 pesos per person (11 dollars, 850 rubles). You can walk in the park all day.

Day 1 - Devil's Throat
The main attraction of the Argentine side (and all waterfalls, in our opinion) is the Devil's Throat.
You can get there by open train – it enters the ticket and goes every half hour. While you're waiting for the train, you can look at wild noses, which is a great activity for children.

From the terminal station, you need to walk on bridges and paths for about 15 minutes. In the heat we were in, it was quite difficult.
A local taxi driver said the best time for the weather is July, with guys from Russia usually praising September (and fewer people).

The observation deck is very close to the waterfall - an incredible sight opens, where millions of tons of water fall as if into the abyss. These are goose bumps and admiration for the wonders of nature on Earth.
You should definitely visit if you want to see the wonders of the world.

Day 2 - Zoo in the jungle
Since we were with the children (the boy is 5 months old, our Kostenka is 7 months old and the girl is one year old), we decided to go to the Güirá Oga Zoo. It's small, there aren't many animals, but it was cool that we were taken far into the jungle by tractor with trailer and then brought back. Many exotic birds, toucans like to pose for photos and videos, there are puma, tapirs, turtles.
The tour lasts 1.5 hours, the entrance is 25,000 pesos per person (18 dollars, 1400 rubles).

Day 3 - Lower Falls and San Martin
The ticket for 2 days could be bought immediately, but since we did not plan, we had to buy again for 45,000 pesos.
To the observation decks (the latter - San Martín) can only be reached on foot, about 2 km, about 40 minutes. There are about 8 viewing platforms – very picturesque. You can see different waterfalls from different sides, the river where they flow.
At the end point is a huge Argentine flag, which beautifully sums up the journey.
It is also necessary to go, but physically for 1 day, especially with a child, it is difficult to see everything. Therefore, we recommend taking the entrance for 2 days at once - it costs the same (45 or 15 thousand pesos).

Results and impressions
The journey was very busy. But since we spent almost all day on some kind of attraction, the schedule was tight, we were a little tired. Perhaps you should take a tour or go for more days and after the waterfalls lay a day of rest.

Total budget
A round trip from Buenos Aires is 15,000 rubles. Hotel - 13,000 rubles for 3 nights.
Total expenses for all days - 42 000 rubles (including meals, entrances to parks, transfers and taxis). Together, almost 70,000 rubles for 3 days.
