Chelyabinsk lakes: a few words in the piggy bank

Blueness and clouds,
Water is a mighty stream,
The hand of the Creator is seen in all things.
Beauty brings inspiration...
(A. Bolutenko)

If it seems to you, dear reader, that all the words about the beauty of the Ural lakes have already been said, then, undoubtedly, all this frenzy and various phantasmagoria will be eliminated by themselves from your memory. I do not know how others will react to what I have written below, but at the mere thought of the beauty of the lakes I have chosen, my heart trembles with joy. Around them is a charm that attracts poets, artists, photographers, romantics and tourists.

The shores of many lakes of the Chelyabinsk region are naturally ennobled in order to create conditions for the most comfortable rest. Countless. recreation centers on the Chelyabinsk lakesHealth camps and sanatoriums, yachts, sun loungers and cool cocktails - all this is the prerogative of lazy inhabitants. As a sophisticated tourist, I want to note the most popular lakes, striking with their beauty, purity, peace and “wild” places.

On any of the 3748 Chelyabinsk lakes, romantic nature will find a suitable place to relax with a tent or a separate house. One of the most popular places for a comfortable holiday in the Chelyabinsk region is rightfully considered Lake Uvildy, which means “blue bowl” in Bashkir. And in fact: the pond in shape resembles a bowl of water so transparent that even sailing far enough from the shore, you can see the bottom. Owners of unstable blood pressure can safely go to the shores of this reservoir, since the water contains radon – an inert radioactive gas, the concentration of which in the water of the lake is not dangerous, but, on the contrary, contributes to recovery.

No less popular lakes Big and Small Kisegach, characterized by an abundance of islands and various animals; as well as Sungul with therapeutic mineral-alkaline water. A lover of fishing will find his paradise here, because in the lake there are perch, roach, carp, pike, nalim and other species of fish. Spruce lake, the original name of which causes stretching and short-term convulsions of the muscles of the tongue - Yılıkul. The name is not the only reason to remember this place. At the bottom of Yylykul, you can find interspersions of therapeutic mud deposits that contribute to the elimination of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, rheumatism, various infectious, chronic, inflammatory processes and, importantly, spastic constipation. Therefore, an itinerant lover of adventure, you can only leave this lake healthy. Recalling the lovers of fishing on the Chelyabinsk lakes and quiet hunting (buttocks and mushroom pickers), I want to mention the lake Chebarkul, which the ancient discoverers called either Motley or Beautiful. There are two versions of the origin of the name "Chebarkul": the first - the word is formed from the Bashkir "sibar" ("beautiful") and "kul" ("island"), the second - from the Tatar "chibar" ("mixed") and "kul" ("island").

The picturesque landscapes of the Ural lakes inspired our ancestors to add beautiful legends, for example, about the alpine lake Zyuratkul, located in the national park of the same name. The ancient legend tells about a beautiful girl named Jurma, who was distinguished by a cool disposition and capriciousness. She refused all grooms and no gifts could appease the spoiled bride. Once in a fit of rage and anger, the girl broke a magic mirror presented to her by the hero Semigor, and one of the fragments flew high into the mountains, forming Zyuratkul, whose name translates as “heart-lake”.

Lovers of mysticism should like the eerie combination of beauty and mystery of the high-mountain lake Itkul. The “sacred lake” surrounded by mountains with numerous caves takes a very Gothic look when you see on the west bank a protruding rock called the Satan Stone, near which most accidents occur. The inflamed imagination of some personalities may well explain the death of the swimmer by the magical influence of a terrifying rock or the attack of a giant mythical snake, which is called Ajarha, but everything is not so terrible. It's all about underground keys with killer cold water.

And now it is time to tell about the younger brother of Lake Baikal, about the cleanest and most beautiful lake at the foot of the Ilmen Mountains, about one of the 100 most valuable reservoirs in the world - about Lake Turgoyak. This unique freshwater creation of nature is located in a mountain basin, which is why it takes an almost rounded form. The lake comprises six islands, one of which, the Island of the Holy Faith, is an open-air archaeological museum. The name "Island of Faith" is associated with the name of the brave girl Vera who settled on it, who helps people and founded a monastic hermitage. As the archaeological work of recent years has shown, Vera is not the only one who enjoyed the hospitality of the island. At the site of excavations of the island, scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences have already found traces of cultures of many centuries and millennia. Among the most significant monuments of past cultures, it is necessary to note 15 ancient sites, 13 objects of the Old Believer hermitage and the Old Believer cemetery on the northeastern slope of the island.

I can say with confidence that tourists coming to the Chelyabinsk lakes are extremely harmonious and peaceful people. What's the secret, you ask? I answer, in the observation of the primeval beauty of nature and the infinite sense of belonging to this world.
