On the village cemetery is the grave of S. Kirillov (Sergei Ivanovich died in 2011), it has a homemade monument, which made the blacksmith himself.

The distance from Yekaterinburg to the village of Kunara is 80 km, the village is located 20 km from Nevyansk. You can get to the blacksmith’s house by personal car or bus.
A trip to Kunaru is well combined with a trip to another ancient Ural village - Shurala.
The name of the village comes from the name of the river that flows in these parts. The very word Shurala arose from the Bashkir or Tatar word shurale, that is, lesha.
The village was founded in 1716, when Nikita Demidov put on the river Shuralin ironworks (it has not survived).
The main local attraction is the temple of Alexander Nevsky in the style of neoclassicism, a monument of history and culture of the Sverdlovsk region.
Construction of the temple began in 1906 at the expense of the factory owners Stenbok-Fermor, it was consecrated in 1916. During the years of Soviet power, the temple was a grain warehouse and a museum, and since 1991 the temple has again become active.
Why is Shurala a golden village? Throughout the nineteenth century, gold was mined in the village and surrounding areas. The miners worked even at the bottom of the factory pond, which was lowered and never recovered.
The distance from Yekaterinburg to the village of Shurala along the Serov tract is 87 km. It can also be reached by train or bus.
