I think each of us has heard from our friends, acquaintances or relatives about a wonderful time spent abroad.
After such stories, you want to get off the couch and run to a travel agency. We throw things in our suitcases and are ready to go tomorrow. At the same time, we hope to grab a ticket cheaper, a bigger hotel, more comfortable conditions. Travel agencies give hope for a dream vacation, providing so-called “burning tickets”. But are they really that good, or is the “burning tour” just a myth?
Many believe that special offers arise as a result of returning or abandoning a purchased tour. That's a misconception. Not all travel agencies are sold out in advance. There are also such trips when there are a few days left before departure. They can remain unclaimed or, in other words, “burn”. In fact, hence their name – “burning”.
As a rule, large companies buy seats in hotels and on planes in advance, planning to send a certain number of tourists. But market demand cannot be predicted. And for one reason or another, some of the trips remain. The tour operator has nothing more to do than to reduce the price of them, so as not to work at a loss. There is no guarantee that you will rush to the travel agency and the agent will immediately provide you with a profitable option. Therefore, no matter how your heart beats, and your soul does not rush to travel, it is better to plan a vacation in advance.
Although if you really do not sit still, tell the travel agent about the desire to buy a “burning tour” and wait for it. The offer may come unexpectedly. I think you'll be lucky.
"Burning tickets" is not a myth after all. But they are not always the cheapest, as most Russians believe. The quality of such tours is also no worse than traveling for the usual price. There's no trick in them. You can also have a good rest and gain new impressions.
