A few little-known facts about London

Our world has no boundaries. And it seems to me that nothing like traveling reveals a person. New cities, uncharted places, other traditions – all this gives us a new impetus to conquer great peaks.

Every time I travel, I find myself finding new goals I want to achieve. I am very interested in getting to know other peoples, seeing the beauty of the world with my own eyes, getting acquainted with other traditions, trying different cuisine and much more. In each city, I try to go to places that are unknown: the old streets or the shop where an elderly seigneur works (he may know a lot about his city). I do not like to go where there are usually crowds of tourists, I choose those places about which there is much more to tell than about the famous sights, about which too much has been said before the holes.

I want to tell you about London. No, it's not like you think Big Ben and the famous London Eye. Here I would like to tell you more interesting facts from this city.

Let’s start with English cuisine:

Breakfast of an ordinary English morning is finely sliced and roasted bacon, beans, sausages, fresh tomatoes and scrambled eggs.

Another very famous dish that will suit even a budget tourist is Fish and Chips. It consists of fish roasted in clay and fries. It costs from 8 to 12 pounds.

Cozy cafes

There is also a very nice cafe in London in honor of Princess Diana. In which you can have a pleasant conversation, see some photos on the walls of this institution.

Handmade goods stores

Visit flower shops where you can find a lot of beautiful and unusual things that will please the eye. And all the products are made by hand.

There are many different and unusual colors that you can buy for a small price.

Street festivals

Street food festivals are often held in London and you can try everything.

Camden Town District

There is a very interesting area called Camden Town. In this place live very difficult people, and these are punks, freaks and rockers. They stand out from the crowd. Some people used to think that these people are dangerous, but looking at them, we can say quite the opposite: smiling, very cute and kind, even the elderly here can wear a lush skirt and a bright shirt with leather boots. You can also find many unusual shops. They are located in residential buildings on which different figures are made: boots or sneakers.

Cafe - a work of art

In Hyde Park every year in the same place always make an unusual form of cafe. Once you could see a cafe here, made of cork. Stools (small foams) resemble a cork of wine. Most often in such cafes gather just to talk or to photograph such an unusual creation. Then at the same place, the cafe was already made in the form of a sea shell. It all looks very impressive.

Olympic Village

In 2012, the Olympic Games were held in London, for which an entire Olympic village was built. The 120-metre-high Orbit Stadium and Tower is to become a symbol of London, like the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

You can talk a lot about London and you can talk about every corner of this city for hours, because there is nothing interesting here. For everyone, it can open from different angles, for me it is a city-tradition, a city-engine, and just very cozy.
