The most popular and well-equipped beaches are located in the area of Tolstoy Cape in Gelendzhik Bay - the heart of the resort. Here on most beaches, not only sun loungers and water activities like banana riding are waiting for you, but also massages, as well as treats like corn.

Central city beach

This is the most popular beach in Gelendzhik. Its coating consists of sand with a small amount of pebbles. The infrastructure is well developed: there are sun loungers, cafes, ice cream, changing rooms and showers (although sometimes queues form in them). The beach is always busy and crowded, but it is very convenient to get to it, and all the necessary amenities are nearby.

Dolphin Beach

Located near the Central Beach and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay: showers, changing rooms, wooden decking, a common canopy and paid sun loungers. For people with disabilities, a ramp leading to the sea is provided. The covering of the beach is sand with small pebbles. This beach is often chosen by families with children, although there are also many visitors.

Salamander Beach

Salamander is a beach club located in the central part of Gelendzhik Bay, at the beginning of Lermontovsky Boulevard opposite the Primorie Grand Resort hotel. The Salamandra Beach Club opened in 2021.

Unlike the neighboring sandy beach "Lermontovsky", "Salamander" is a small pebble beach. The club occupies a coastline about 100 meters long, with a maximum beach width of about 30 meters.

Thanks to the developed infrastructure, gently entering the water and a modern playground, the beach "Salamandra" in Gelendzhik is often chosen for recreation with children.

Sosnovka Beach

Sosnovka beach, also known as Lesenka, is one of the most remote and inaccessible beaches of Gelendzhik. It is located at the foot of impressive cliffs, behind the neighborhood "Sail" and the garden partnership "Pine Slit", about 3 km from the city center. A feature of the beach is a steep descent, followed by a metal staircase.

The terrain resembles a cliff of layered step rocks. The beach strip here is narrow - sometimes it is difficult to turn around, and in places the coastline goes to the sea. The beach is covered with small pebbles. The beach looks very picturesque both in reality and in photos. Thanks to the pebble coating, the water here is especially clean, and the beach itself has long been considered secluded. The coast is gentle, the depth increases gradually, and the water acquires a bluish or green tint.

There is no infrastructure on the beach. Sun loungers, umbrellas, swimming accessories, food and drinks should be taken with you, taking into account the complexity of the descent and ascent.

Blue Cove Beaches

Blue Bay is a picturesque microdistrict of the resort town of Gelendzhik, located 13 km from the center. This secluded area is located at the foot of the Tuaphat mountain range, in the north of the Thin Cape.

Blue Bay is ideal for a calm and comfortable holiday. Lovers of untouched nature, clean sea and solitude will definitely like it here. Vacationers here are much less than in the central part of the city, so even in the height of the season to find a place on the shore will not be difficult. However, you should not count on complete solitude in July and August.

The beaches of the Blue Bay are pebble, but the pebbles are small and convenient for walking barefoot. This coating provides crystal clear and transparent water, which is not found on the sandy beaches of the center of Gelendzhik. Here is the cleanest and most transparent sea in the city. The sea in the Blue Bay area is open, with faster water exchange compared to the central beaches.

The entrance to the water is gentle, the depth increases gradually and quite slowly. The sea remains shallow for 150-200 meters from the coast, which makes this area convenient for recreation with children. However, this does not apply to all beaches of the Blue Bay - for example, on the Central and Medical beaches, the depth grows sharply, so you should be careful.

Beach sanatorium "Red Talka"

The beach of the sanatorium "Krasnaya Talka" is located only 50 meters from the building of the complex, and the total length of the recreation area is about 210 meters.

This is a comfortable, landscaped beach, equipped with all the necessary accessories for recreation. It is adjacent to the sanatorium and for a long time was the only beach of the first category in Russia. On the beach, vacationers have comfortable sun loungers and mattresses, shower cabins for washing off salt water, as well as sun umbrellas that protect against direct sunlight. The recreation area is divided into two levels: green and coastal. The first level is a grassy area with trees and greenery, where you can relax in nature, and the second is a stone shore, from where the sea begins.

Entrance to the water is possible both from the pier and from the shore. To protect tourists from waves that can create whirlpools, lift algae and sand from the bottom, a protective dam was built at a depth of about half a meter. It effectively breaks the waves, preventing them from reaching the beach.

The beach also provides diving equipment and the services of an experienced instructor who will introduce guests to the underwater world of the Black Sea.

Sunny Beach

The beach "Sun" is located along Primorsky Boulevard, stretching almost 4 km along the Gelendzhik Bay, about 4 kilometers from the central beach of the resort. This location plays into the hands of the beach: here rest mainly the guests of the sanatorium, local residents and tourists living in the area. Due to this, at the height of the season, the beach is not crowded, and everyone can find a comfortable and peaceful place to relax here.

Blue abyss

The Blue Abyss is a lagoon located between the village of Divnomorskoye and the village of Dzhanhot, with surprisingly clear turquoise water and large white pebbles on the shore. The place got its romantic name because of a sharp cliff, starting slightly deep into a long plateau, where the depth reaches 20 meters. Looking at the turquoise water from the steep cliffs surrounding the lagoon, it seems that the sky reflected in the sea seems to have drowned in it.

This is the most picturesque place in Janhot at the same time is considered the most inaccessible. After passing the village, you will have to either go down the cliff for about 15 minutes, or walk along the beach, that is, on the water, or go through the forest, where you should be ready for steep slopes and unexpected cliffs. The beach is a very narrow strip of land. The steep and steep coast reaches a height of up to 50 meters, so being here can be unsafe for children and the elderly. Although today several descents are equipped with stairs, restrictive ropes and ropes.

Since early spring, the area is literally immersed in the bright colors of nature: the sea, the sky, reflections of rocks and clouds in the water, as well as stunning shades of relic pine trees.

Wild Beach "Crutch"

Wild beach "Krucha" is located behind the Fat Cape in Gelendzhik. This place is known among tourists for its picturesque rocks and secluded atmosphere. Entrance to the beach is free, but because of its inaccessibility, it is popular mainly with locals and experienced travelers.

The recreation area is surrounded by mountains covered with juniper trees, oaks and pine trees, so that there is very clean and healthy air. The beach is completely covered with pebbles and large stones. Krucha is a great place for those who want to relax from the bustle of the city, and the natural landscape helps to hide from prying eyes. Descent to the beach can seem inconvenient: you can only get here by paths. Since the slope is quite steep, vacationers should be especially careful to avoid injuries.

Wild Beach at the Lighthouse

Wild beach "At the lighthouse" is located in Gelendzhik on the Tolstoy Cape and is a small narrow areas of rocky shore at the foot of coastal rocks. The beach got its name due to its proximity to the famous Gelendzhik lighthouse. The size of the coast on different sections of the beach "At the Lighthouse" varies significantly: the largest areas reach several tens of meters in length and 7-10 meters in width, while the smallest barely exceed 1-2 meters in both dimensions.

The main disadvantage of the beach is the lack of a comfortable and equipped descent. Near the lighthouse there is an iron staircase that allows you to go down to the rocky shore, as well as several paths on the stones. However, all these paths are not completely safe and are not suitable for children and the elderly. In addition, going down in summer shoes, such as slates or sandals, is quite uncomfortable, so it is recommended to use closed shoes with a tight sole.
