Day 1: The heart of Vladivostok: bridges, history and panoramas
Begin acquaintance with the city with the Ship Embankment - here are concentrated iconic monuments and symbols of naval glory. Be sure to look at the memorial ship and the S-56 Submarine Museum: the exposition immerses in the military history of the Pacific Fleet and gives you a sense of the spirit of the port city.
Continue the walk on the pedestrian Sports Embankment, and then go to the historical quarter of Millionka – the former Chinese district, which today has become an atmospheric place with a maze of cozy courtyards, art objects and urban legends. Here it is easy to catch the “Vladivostok Vaib” and take atmospheric photos.
The evening is worth spending on the hill Eagle's Nest: go up to the observation deck at the TV tower (you can also on the funicular) and admire the panorama of the night city. Particularly impressive is the illuminated Golden Bridge, one of the main symbols of Vladivostok.
Day 2. Lighthouse, parks and marine species
In the morning, dedicate the Tokarevsky lighthouse - one of the visiting cards of the city. It stands on a narrow spit that goes into the sea, and looks especially picturesque against the background of waves and the sunset sky. This place is loved by photographers and romantics.
After the lighthouse, walk along the modern Mountain Park: comfortable recreation areas, observation decks and walking paths with views of the city and the bay are equipped here.
In the afternoon, take a boat trip along the Golden Horn Bay and under the Golden Bridge. From the water, the city opens quite differently: you will see the port infrastructure, embankments and famous bridges from an unusual angle.
Day 3. Russian Island: rocks, cliffs and military history
The day should be dedicated to the Russian island, which is connected to the mainland by an impressive cable-stayed bridge - in itself it is already a landmark. There are hiking routes on the island, and one of the most spectacular leads to Cape Tobizina: here you will find steep cliffs, harsh rocks and clear water, which in September is especially clean.
No less interesting is the historical side of the island: the objects of the Vladivostok fortress, such as the Voroshilov Battery and the Island Forts, will tell about the role of the city as an outpost of Russia in the Pacific Ocean.
Day 4. Oceanarium and meeting wildlife
In the morning, start with a visit to the Primorsky Oceanarium on Russky Island - this is a large-scale complex where you can spend at least 3-4 hours watching marine life. The expositions cover different climatic zones, and the shows and interactive zones will be interesting for both adults and children.
After lunch, go to the Seaside Safari Park in the suburbs. Here you can see Amur tigers, Far Eastern leopards, watch ungulates and even feed some animals with your hands - a great way to touch the wildlife of Primorye.
Day 5. Beaches and unusual coves: Chamora and Glass
Go to the beach of the Cove of Azure (Shamora) is the most popular sandy beach in the vicinity of Vladivostok. There are fewer people here in September, and the weather still allows you to swim or try sapsurfing.
On the way, look into Glass Bay: its shore is strewn with smooth multi-colored sea glass, which the waves turned into “jewels”. This is one of the most photogenic places in the region - ideal for atmospheric personnel.
Day 6. Islands and seafood: Skota and the Way
Take a day boat tour to Shkota Island – wild and picturesque, it is located next to Russky Island. If you want more adventure, go on to the island of Putyatina. Here you are waiting for unusual kekuras (rock remnants), secluded bays and colonies of nerpas (largas).
For lunch, try fresh seafood on one of the sea farms: scallops, oysters, sea urchins - all this is served directly from the sea. Such a gastronomic experience is an important part of the Far Eastern journey.
Day 7. Culture, Souvenirs and Far Eastern Cuisine
Dedicate the last day to the cultural program: visit the Arsenyev Primorsky Museum or the Primorsky State Picture Gallery - they will help to better understand the history and art of the region.
In memory of the trip, buy gastronomic souvenirs: chocolate with sea kale, wildflowers, Far Eastern fish and seafood in thermal packages - so the taste of Primorye will remain with you for a long time.
Complete the trip with dinner in a restaurant of local or pan-Asian cuisine: Vladivostok is famous for fresh fish and seafood dishes, and chefs are able to reveal their taste in a new way.
