Choosing a fishing rod - the main criteria

In spring, Russian fishermen often use standard plugs or telescopic, consisting of several knees, fishing rods. And the equipment itself in this case is small in size, and sometimes less than the length of the fishing rod itself. If it exceeds its length, it will be extremely difficult to control the catch. But there are circumstances when catching such rods is ineffective. As for winter fishing, the equipment should be appropriate. This is where I bought myself a good rod to cross. Length of fishing rod

Many of us choose simple fishing rods with an optimal length (about 4-5 meters). With the help of a standard installed coil on a rod where there is a supply of fishing line, the tackle can be thrown into swimming at a good distance. However, running it more than 10 meters is pointless for a number of reasons. First of all, it is difficult to find a smoothly changing bottom on a small river. Usually after a few meters, the depth increases sharply. Also, the further the tackle was thrown, the probability of diverting it downstream increases. So that it does not affect or reduce resistance, loaders are used to increase its mass. But with increasing mass, the number of bites decreases.

Fiberglass rods with rings

It is worth saying that today the manufacture and sale of fishing rods with fiberglass rings, acquired by most fishermen, is the worst tackle. With the help of such fishing tools, it is impossible to throw it far, and the sensitivity is very poor. In addition, managing the cut is inconvenient. The most suitable application for such is “half-baked”. Therefore, the popularity of this type of fishing rod will disappear over time. Many more experienced anglers use a boat to fish.
