Barossa Valley

Barossa Valley Estate Winery, Seppeltsfield Road, Marananga SA 5355, Australia

Description:

An hour’s drive from Adelaide is South Australia’s main wine region, the Barossa Valley. For two centuries, the locals have been growing grapes and producing some of the best wines on the planet. There are 150 wineries in the valley, which store wine in 70 cellars.

There are three cities in the Barossa Valley, each of which is unlike the others. This is the German city of Tananda, the English city of Angaston and the central city of Nereutpa, combining the styles of Tananda and Angaston. All these cities were founded by immigrants from Europe, and therefore inherited the European style and traditions.

In addition to exploring rare varieties of wine, a trip to the Barossa Valley will allow you to taste the unique breads, cheeses, sausages and smoked cheese products produced by the locals.
