Northern Territory Museum

19 Conacher Street, Fannie Bay NT 0820, Darwin, Australia

About the company:

In the Darwin suburb of Fanny Bay, there is a curious museum called the Northern Territory Art Gallery (in Australia it is more commonly referred to as MAGNT). There are a large number of exhibits representing the culture of the local population.

The opening of the museum took place more than forty years ago, originally the exhibits were exhibited in another building - in the business center of Darwin. Unfortunately, due to the strongest cyclone in 1974, the building fell into disrepair, and most of the exhibits were destroyed by the elements. The new building was built seven years later and opened on September 10, 1981.

During its existence, the museum has collected over 30,000 exhibits under its roof. Particularly popular among visitors is the stuffed 5-meter crocodile, which during his lifetime terrorized boats and boats.
