Mount Tamborin

tamborine, 40 minutes from the Gold Coast, Australia

Description:

The Gold Coast is called the beach capital of Australia. But if you get tired of basking in the sun and wish for something extreme - excursions to Mount Tamborin are at your service. However, it is worth preparing for the difficulties - the route lies through a very steep slope (the level of inclination reaches 30-35 degrees).

As you progress, you will meet a mysterious waterfall, the water in which seems to arise from the void. The fact is that there is no river here and where the water comes from is unknown. If you want to swim in the waterfall, then immediately discard this idea - it is surrounded by poisonous trees, whose villi, clinging to the skin, cause burning pain.

In the distant past, Mount Tamborin was an active volcano. Today, the crest of the crater is residential, and vineyards grow around it.
