One of the main entertainment centers in Queensland is the amusement park "Sea World" in the vicinity of Southport. The park has a big history. It first opened in 1958. Later it expanded more than once, new rides and slides appeared in it. The park received its current name in 1972.
"Sea World" offers visitors fifteen types of attractions, including two roller coasters and three water rides. The park is also famous for bright shows featuring marine animals.
The main attraction of the "Sea World" is an artificial lagoon - the largest on the planet. Visitors to the park through glass can watch the most formidable marine predators - sharks.
