Emerald Airport

Description:

Emerald Airport is in the heart of the Queensland region. 45 weekly flights connect this small regional airfield to the provincial capital of Brisbane.

The city of Emerald, with a population of 12,000, is linked to other Australian territories by a local airport. There is a regular passenger service to Brisbane, Queensland’s largest city. It is assumed that from Brisbane Airport, one of the most important airfields in Australia, travelers will be able to continue their journey to all parts of the world.

Today, Emerald Airport consists of two runways, one of which is designed exclusively for small aircraft, and the second is capable of receiving large passenger aircraft. Virgin Australia is renovating the terminal with a modern check-in area and a luggage carousel.
