10-20 Olympic Blvd, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia 149m Yu

Description:

Melbourne was nicknamed the “Sports Capital of Australia”, which is not surprising – it was here that the 1956 Summer Olympics were held. One of the echoes of that time is Melbourne Park, which to this day retains the right to host the prestigious Australian Open tennis championship.

Melbourne Park’s main tennis arena is named after Rod Laver, the only tennis player to win a Grand Slam twice in a row. The Rod Laver Arena can accommodate 16,820 spectators. Melbourne Park also has Vodafone Arena (10,000 spectators), Margaret Court Arena (6,000 spectators) and 14 mini-courts for visitors.

In addition to tennis courts, Melbourne Park has swimming pools and a sports arena.
