Hwa Tsang Buddhist Monastery has been operating since 1979. It was designed to help migrants and refugees from Central Asia overcome language and cultural barriers. All students are allowed to study - regardless of ethnic origin or religion.
Today, 180 students study at Hwa Tsang Monastery. Anyone who wishes can enter its territory.
