Cremorne's client. Mosman Bay

2 Milson Rd, Cremorne Point NSW 2090, Australia

Description:

Cape Cremorne was named after one of the London gardens, as a memory of distant England. In 1853 it was acquired by merchant and pastoralist James Milson. Gradually, the enterprising Milson began to sell plots on the peninsula for the construction of residential buildings, and this business turned out to be very profitable. However, in the early twentieth century, due to numerous lawsuits, Milson was unable to sell land close to the water's edge. Thanks to this "failure" strip along the Mosman Bay remained untouched corner of nature.

The magnificent view from Cape Cremorne opens during a walk that lasts about an hour. From this point you can see the panorama of the city, Fort Denison, as well as the eastern suburbs. The route runs along the coast of Mosman Bay, where there are many places for picnic or fishing, and there is also a restaurant that serves seafood dishes.
