Museum of Currency at the Reserve Bank of Australia

65 Martin Place, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia

About the company:

The Australian Currency Museum opened in March 2005. It is very different from similar numismatic museums in other countries. Even at the stage of creation of the project, the main task was set - to make the museum not a boring monetary depository at the central bank, but a modern interesting exposition. The Museum of Banknotes at the Reserve Bank of Australia in the first days of the opening received many positive reviews and a constant influx of tourists.

The modern halls of the museum greet the visitor with an ultra-fashionable design and an unusual approach to presenting information. There are no boring dates and insipid statistics. Here you can find comics and illustrated books about banknotes, which were issued by the Reserve Bank of Australia to educate the younger generation with respect to money.
