One of the most popular amusement parks on the Gold Coast of Australia is the World of Cinema Park. This theme park is inhabited by characters of Hollywood films and cartoons, among which there are such heroes as Bugs Bunny, Duffy Duck, Marilyn Monroe, Scooby-Doo, Shrek and many others.
The World of Cinema was built over three years and opened in 1989. The opening ceremony was attended by such movie stars as Clint Eastwood and Mel Gibson.
