Pfenderban cable car

The city of Bregenz is located on the shore of the famous Lake Constance at the foot of Mount Pfender. The beauty of these places annually attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world. The mountain rises above sea level by 1064 meters, on its top there is an observation deck, which can be climbed by cable car.

The cable car, better known as the Pfenderban, was built in 1927 when these structures became widespread. The Pfenderban was the first Austrian cable car. In cities located at the foot of the mountains, such routes have become very popular, because with their help people have the opportunity to easily get to the mountain peaks and admire the beautiful views.

Climbing the observation deck on the cable car involuntarily begins to feel like a bird hovering over a picturesque alpine park.
