The Friedhof Tirol Museum is probably the most amazing museum in Austria. It's a museum of cemeteries and everything related to it. The museum is simply a simulation of a cemetery. No one died here, but there are tombstones everywhere with very funny inscriptions.

Therefore, the museum received the unofficial name "Museum of the Merry Cemetery". He collected this unique collection, and then carefully restored the blacksmith Hans Guggenberger. Almost all sayings and inscriptions belong to the XVIII and XIX centuries. However, there are several sayings of earlier origin.
The museum is open daily from 9.00 to 18.00, in winter from 10.00. Entrance to the museum is free.
