Museum of Tyrolean Economy
Angerberg 10, Kramsach, Austria
About the company:
The Museum of Tyrolean Farmsteads is a museum of Tyrolean farming. It is located in Tyrol in the city of Kramzakh. This museum is completely open-air, as the exhibition presents 30 Tyrolean estates and other rural buildings that were formerly in Tyrol. Especially for the creation of a museum from different regions of Tyrol, 14 farms were brought, which were later installed on the territory of the museum.
The prototype of such a museum was a similar museum in Scandinavia, Stockholm. Walking through the museum, you can fully see what a real Tyrolean farm looked like, starting from the house where the farmer lived with his family and ending with various outbuildings. Some farmhouses are fully furnished, which further enhances the experience.
Each farm, presented in the museum, has a description of its origin and time of appearance. The design of the entire farm is also shown.
