Gorge of Gola della Galizia

Gola della Galizia is a picturesque gorge with a magnificent waterfall located near Linz, in Austria. Surrounded by steep walls, the waterfall makes a stunning impression. Beautiful views of the mountain range and the waterfall can be admired from specially equipped suspension bridges.

Part of the water, falling into the valley, turns a water mill, the only one in the southern Alps. The mill rolls pieces of marble and stone to the state of balls, which are then sold as souvenirs. Near the entrance to the gorge are a bar and restaurant. In the gorge there is a Via Ferrata running along the waterfall, designed for climbing lovers - the rocky area is equipped with a safety rope running along the rock and fixed on it, as well as footrests. The immediate proximity of the waterfall gives the journey to Via Ferrat the character of a real dangerous adventure.
