Raabs Castle

Raabs Castle, located near the Austrian city of Rabs an der Taia, on a high rocky ridge, dates back to the XI century and at first belonged to representatives of the first Austrian princely dynasty Babenberg.
The castle has long been a border defensive fortress.
In the luxurious Knight's Hall you can see frescoes of the early XVI century.
Raabs Castle is now privately owned.
