Pasqualati Museum

Molker Bastei 8 1010 Wien, Austria

About the company:

Pasquatti Museum is a very small museum, which is not always found in guides to Vienna. It is located in an old residential building of the late XVIII century, where the great composer Ludwig van Beethoven spent almost ten years of his life. It is known that during his stay in Vienna Beethoven changed several addresses, and in 1804-1814 he lived in the house of his patron.

The apartment in which Beethoven lived is memorable for the fact that it was here that he created numerous works, including the opera Fidelio, as well as several symphonies, compositions for solo performance on various musical instruments. Among the exhibits of the museum, the most interesting is the piano, which was once played by Beethoven himself.
