...and it's quite serious. Getting to this small resort town in Slovenia for the first time, you will be fascinated by it. Bled is undoubtedly the true pearl of the country. It lies in a deep mountain basin at the foot of the Julian Alps, at an altitude of 475 meters above sea level and is a world-famous ski and balneological resort (apparently, it is no coincidence that Josip Broz Tito had his villa here). Numerous monuments, breathtaking landscapes and, of course, the famous Lake Bled with a picturesque romantic island in the center, decorated with a small old church of the Assumption of Our Lady. You can get to the island on a boat resembling a Venetian gondola, which is called "platna".
And on the northern shore rises a steep steep steeple height of 139 meters, which is crowned by the Bled Castle, founded by Emperor Henry in 1004. From the opening panorama is simply breathtaking.
After the tour of Bled we will go with you to walk along the mountain gorge Vintgar. What you will see can not be described in any words – it is just one day to see. Crystal clear water, trout, as if frozen in it, and air, stunning air that can not be inhaled.
