Lake Fushlze
Description:
Fuschlsey is a picturesque lake located near Salzburg at an altitude of 662 m above sea level. Its area is 9.24 m2 and its maximum depth is 67.3 m. The water here is very warm and clean, with a beautiful emerald hue. The lake is surrounded by wonderful well-groomed forests, which are a reserve of national importance.
The brooding and silence of Fushlsey, the charm of its magnificent landscapes, majestic mountains, quiet valleys, snow-capped peaks and sunny alpine meadows have always inspired famous artists, composers and poets. The lake attracts tourists with a well-developed infrastructure and a mild climate. On the local shores you can ride horses, go fishing, take part in a bicycle walk, as well as play tennis, beach volleyball and golf.
On the lake were equipped with special areas for swimming - city beaches "Fushl" and "Stolingerhof". Various cultural events and festivals are held here throughout the year. On the shore of Fuschlsey there is a sports complex with playgrounds, swimming pools, beautiful parks, gyms, saunas and treatment rooms.
