Puppet Museum
About the company:
The Salzburg Puppet Museum opened in 1913, making it the oldest miniature puppet theater in the world.
The troupe of the theater is very few, but the repertoire is striking in diversity. It should be noted that the central place in the repertoire of the theater is occupied by the talented works of V. A. Mozart, because it was with his harmonious operas thanks to Professor Anton Aycher that the theater began its work. So, in the repertoire today – the opera “The Magic Flute”, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” based on Shakespeare’s play, as well as the ballet “The Nutcracker” by P.I. Tchaikovsky, especially beloved by Russian tourists.
A visit to the theater will give unforgettable impressions to both adult tourists and young travelers.
