Description:

The Salzach River flows among picturesque mountain ranges and ancient cities in Austria and Germany. It originates in the Alps in the area of Kitzbühel, Tyrolean ski resort, and ends, flowing into the river Inn, near the Austrian city of Braunau am Inn. The riverbed is quite narrow, winding. First, the current of Salzakh goes in an easterly direction, and near the village of Shvartsakh the river turns north. For Salzburg it is the main river, it passes through the heart of the city, and therefore it is actively used to explore the city.

The magical and mesmerizing Salzburg can be seen by taking a boat with a panoramic roof "Amadeus Salzburg" at the Makart Bridge in the historic part of the city. The boat slowly passes 8 kilometers along the winding river to the mountain ranges near Helbrunn Castle and returns back. There is also a second route for those who want to explore the castle. The boat reaches the pier at the palace, from which a transfer goes to Helbrunn.
