Human Rights Day in Azerbaijan

To celebrate June 18 as Human Rights Day.Taking into account that on June 18, 1998, the National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev approved the “State Program for the Protection of Human Rights”, as well as the fact that ensuring human rights is defined as one of the main directions of state policy, the President of Azerbaijan decided:

June 18 is celebrated annually as Human Rights Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
