Round table dedicated to a significant dateOn July 5, Muslims celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad’s daughter Fatimaei Zahra. In this regard, a round table on the topic “Modern Azerbaijani society and Muslim woman” was held in Baku, organized by the public association “Invitation to moral purification”.

According to Elshan Mustafaoglu, the head of the association, believing women are part of society, which, like other categories of citizens, has its own problems. Chief among them is the moral. “Today, artificially inflated images of female heroes are being imposed on society from television screens, through billboards.

“For the sake of personal material interests, despicable intentions, girls are pushed to the path of immorality, exploited for short-term gain. Labels of goods are full of photos of women in an unworthy form. If the public does not express its discontent, if it does not rise up to fight immorality, then in the near future it threatens to become a serious challenge to society as a whole.”

The Invitation for Moral Purification Association addressed the Azerbaijani people with congratulations on the birthday of Fatemei Zahra, the text of which reads: "On this solemn day, we wish all women to be worthy of Fatemei Zahra - the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad, to be devoted companions of spouses like Fatemei Zahra - the wife of Imam Ali, to be loving and caring mothers like Fatemei Zahra - the mother of Imam Hassan and Hussein."
