Tour to Gobustan State Historical and Artistic Reserve!

Meeting at the hotel. The tour will begin with the Gobustan Museum, where you will see ancient human bones, tools used a thousand years ago, during the Mesolithic period. Then we head to the mountain to see the real cave paintings in the open-air museum!
On the territory of the reserve at the foot of Mount Beyukdash there is a stone slab with a Latin inscription dating back to the 1st century AD, between 84-96, left by the Roman legion of Emperor Domitian with the nickname “Fulminata” (“Lightning Fast”), which recorded the stay of the XII Lightning Legion in the first century AD.
