Azadlig Square

Azadlig is the modern name of the main square of Baku, once named after Lenin. Translated from Azerbaijani - Freedom Square.

Azadlig is not only the central square of Baku, where the Government House is located, but also the main city platform for mass events. The square has also repeatedly become a venue for large-scale rallies and manifestos.

Near the square there are many hotels, the most famous of which are Hilton Baku and JW Marriott Absheron Baku Hotel. It is worth noting that from Liberty Square there is a beautiful view of the embankment and the sea.
