Rashid Beybutov Street

The central street of Baku, formerly called “Budagovskaya”, “Caspian”, “Lieutenant Schmidt”, today bears the name of the famous Azerbaijani singer Rashid Beybutov.

Rashid Beybutov Street is one of the main transport arteries of the city. The length of the street is more than 2 kilometers. There are many shops, boutiques and restaurants on the street.

All buildings belong to the pre-revolutionary era. The following buildings deserve special attention: Museum of Musical Art, Song Theater and Rashid Beybutov Music School, Jazz Center, Shahriyar House of Culture and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
