Feast of the Golden Chariot
Description:
The inhabitants of this city have long ceased to fear dragons, as from year to year celebrate the victory over one of them, named Lumecon. According to one legend, many centuries ago Lumecon broke into the city, but was defeated by St. George himself.
Every year, about 200,000 people protect the city from re-invasion, participating in the procession of the Golden chariot of St. George, which describes the sacred circle around the city. Then the battle itself with the eight-meter dragon is played out, which is defeated every year by St. John. George.
