Antwerp from the excursion ship FLANDRIA
Description:
Antwerp from the excursion ship FLANDRIA.
A walk along the Antwerp waterfront is an immersion in the world of modern architecture. The variety of facades is striking, differing in style, color and form. The promenade is a link between the north and the south, between the renovated Eilandje district and one of the most prestigious areas of Zuid. This little-known area of Antwerp is actually worth your time!
Within three kilometers of the embankment there are houses and offices, historical buildings and many restaurants and cafes of various architectural styles: from baroque to art nouveau and constructivism.
On our tour, we will first admire the horizons of Antwerp, moving along the Scheldt River on the pleasure ship Flandria, where in the bar you can order yourself a drink, and then walk the same way, looking on the way to the Museum of Modern Art MHKA and the Museum of Photography.
We will finish our walk in the cafe, where I will treat you to a cup of coffee or tea.
