Jerusalem
Description:
The most unusual church in Bruges, the only one in the city that has preserved the original Gothic interior.
It was bought by a family of wealthy merchants and financiers Adorn, who arrived in Bruges from Italy in the thirteenth century. One of the representatives of the family, Anselm Adorn in the XV century made a pilgrimage to the holy land and on his return ordered the rebuilding of the family chapel in the image of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.
