Regenbogstadion Stadium
Zuiderlaan 17-19, Waregem, Belgium
Description:
The Regenbogstadion Stadium, located in the Belgian city of Varegem, was built in 1925. Translated from Belgian, the name translates as “rainbow stadium”. The stadium is considered home to the Zulte-Varegem football team, which was formerly called Varegem and later merged with the Zulte team.
The capacity of the stadium stands is 8.5 million seats, 6,800 of which are seated. Prior to the latest renovation, the stadium had a capacity of around 20,000 fans, but that number had been halved due to tighter security regulations for the stadiums. Around the perimeter of the field of the stadium "Regenbogstadion" are treadmills.
