River Voer

The river Voer, Sint-Pieters-Voeren, Belgium

Description:

The Voer River is a 12-kilometer long river that flows through the territory of two countries: Belgium and the Netherlands. It carries its waters into the Meuse River in the Netherlands, and its source is a small spring near the Belgian village of St. Peters-Voeren.

Most of the Voer River runs through Belgium. It is home to the small Belgian villages of the municipality of Voeren St. Peters-Voeren and St. Martins-Voeren. Most of its way the river flows through the flat terrain, its source is underground and flows through the picturesque stone gate, built in the Middle Ages next to the ancient buildings of the village.
