A trip to Belgium. Southern provinces.

Description:

A trip to Belgium is an excursion into the past. Read every page of this book. Discover the southern provinces of Belgium.

“The world is a book. And those who have not traveled through it have read only one page. – St. Augustine It's hard to disagree with him. But his thought can be expanded. If you went on a tour of Brussels, you did not see the whole of Belgium, or rather saw only one page from this fascinating and unforgettable book.

We offer you an excursion to the southern provinces of Belgium, where time has stopped, preserving the citadels, castles and monasteries in their original form. I would call this route "Peace."

Our trip to Belgium will last about ten hours and during this time you will see:

  • many ancient artifacts;
  • delve into the Ardennes, the only wildlife area in this part of Europe.
  • beauty of the picturesque road along rivers and rocks

The tour includes visits to attractions such as

  • citadel in Namur;
  • Adolphe Sachs Museum in Dinan and Leffe beer tasting in the cafe of the same name;
  • the town of Bouillon with the family castle of the first king of Jerusalem according to the crusaders Gottfried of Bouillon;
  • Visit to the oldest European monastery - Trappisten Orval.

Each of these attractions is worthy of an independent tour, but I suggest you visit them together, since each of them is connected with the others by invisible historical threads.

We drive a lot, we see a lot, we walk a little. Minimum energy consumption – maximum impressions!
